Firsts in the First Month

So, today Miss Bailey is 4 weeks old. I can't believe it! She is growing so much and making more noise than ever. Jake and I are learning her different cries and what they mean! She normally doesn't cry-cry unless she is hungry. And she has this kinda whiny cry when she is wet or just wants to be held. She also does the whiny thing and screams and grunts when she is poopin! I have never heard such a loud poopin baby. Super cute tho! So, thought I'd give everyone the 4-1-1 on some of the things that have happened this month!!!

Bailey started sleeping in her own bed, in her own room about a week and a half ago. She really just was not happy in her bassinet in our room with us and she kept us up a lot. We went and got a monitor that works really good. I mean I can hear her MOVE. The first night, I just laid in bed wanting to go look at her and bring her back in our room...She slept for about2 1/2 hours and i fed her...then she slept for like 4 hours. Now she almost always sleeps for about 4-5 hours when we first go to bed and then is up in 3 hours. So most of the time we feed about 3-4 and then again between 6 and 7. Last night she didn't get up to eat until almost 5 so I got to sleep in til 7:30. Yay, Bailey...you are getting better at the night/day schedules.

Last Saturday, Sept. 11 - Bailey went to her first Western Days Parade! It was so much fun! We sat where we always do- in front of the car wash next to the fire station! She was so good...not at all fussy! The noises didn't bother her at all and she was held by her 2 Aunt Jen(n)s and Auntie Katie the whole time! Afterwards we walked around for a little bit, but she seemed to be getting really hot so we decided it was best to go.

After the parade we went home for a wardrobe change and headed over to Auntie Ange's house for the OU game. Bailey's first OU watch party and she looked perfect for the occasion. She wore her OU onsie, tutu, and bow. She didn't like it when I put it on her, but she soon calmed down and then sat so perfectly for all of us girls to take pictures of her. She was one beautiful OU fan!

Today, her Aunt Jen and I took Bailey to the Fair for the 1st time. She totally slept for the 1st 2 1/2 hours that we were there while Jen and I looked at all the really cute bows, tutus and head bands for her. I found so much stuff for her and got some really good ideas on new projects. I can totally make so much of the stuff that they sell there. She came home with 2 new headbands and will be getting some more when Daddy, Bailey and I go back next week.
